The Journey to Gray Hair: A look into the past, Will it inspire me?

Today on my journey to gray hair...

It has been another day of very minimal rest... Oh poo! Last night I just couldn't seem to have a truly deep sleep. So now today I had a lack of energy but I wouldn't be ME if I let that hold me back. Today was still a productive day even if I had to kick my own butt into gear.

My little one had a lot of fun. She got to hang out with Daddy, play dress up, visit grandma, have a fruity feast, sleep in mommy's arms, and even have a very special bible story time with her grandma before heading back home. She loves spending time with her grammy, its so sweet!

I got more enjoyment out of it than either of them. It was a nice day for our little family. I got to cook for my mother, and husband which was great (I don't find the time or energy for that very often). We managed to spend an ENTIRE daytime away from our computers, cell phones, and video games. It was truly just a great time for me. I love spending time with my family. My daughter loves everyone so much it feels great to see that huge smile on her face and watch her bask in the excitement.

I have now opened my grammar book, I only skimmed it. That is something though... right? :) Tonight I will be cracking it open again and actually reading some of it. After watching Pocahontas with my baby, making hubby's night meal since he is working grave yard, and straightening up in the play room.

My day was great, I took yet another step forward in both of my goals. I also took a small bit of time to look at some of my projects from the past to remind myself of the goals I reached then, and to inspire myself to continue on my journey. To recap my goals are : 1. To relax and enjoy my time with my family (keep anxiety at bay) 2. To learn to write a book
